Ákos Erős is the managing partner of the Budapest office and focuses on corporate and transactional matters including the preparation of complex commercial agreements. He has extensive experience in mergers & acquisitions, international trade, privatization, financial transactions and general commercial matters.

Mr. Erős represents an array of Hungary-based companies and global investors with business activities in Hungary including one of the largest banks in Hungary, the Hungarian entity of one of the largest telecommunication companies and one of the largest energy companies. Mr. Erős has a broad corporate and regulatory practice serving local and international clients including greenfield investment matters.

Mr. Erős is a member of the International Bar Association and the Budapest Bar Association, among others, and a member of the supervisory board of the Inter-Continental Hotel Budapest Rt.

He was recommended by Chambers Global: The World’s Leading Lawyers 2009, IFLR1000 2009 and European Legal Experts 2009 as a leader in corporate matters and mergers and acquisitions. PLC Which Lawyer? yearbook 2009 recommended Mr. Erős for restructuring and insolvency matters.
