Corporate partner Mae Salem won Rising Star of the Year at the 2022 Yorkshire Rainmaker Awards. Organised by TheBusinessDesk, the annual awards for the corporate finance community were announced in Leeds last night.
The firm also won Deal of the Year (Under £20 million) for advising on the Sheffield Forgemasters acquisition by the Ministry of Defence, and M&A Deal of the Year for advising on the succession and growth finance raising for Carnaby Caravans. Partner Paul Mann was a finalist in the category of Rainmaker of the Year and the Corporate team was a finalist in the category of Legal Team of the Year.
Head of the Leeds Corporate team, Hannah Kendrick said: “Mae is a talented and extremely capable lawyer. To win the Rising Star award is not only a mark of her involvement in some of the region’s most notable transactions, but also how hard she has worked to establish a name for herself in the Yorkshire market.
