Renewable Energy

With the continued increase in the demand for energy, the rise in fuel costs, concern with import dependence and increasing environmental regulation, there has been a shift toward power generation from renewable sources. In the United States, approximately 20 states require utilities to generate a minimum percentage of electricity using renewable fuel sources by an established date. In addition, tax incentives and green credits have resulted in a greater interest and growth in the renewable industry. Improved technology is lowering generation costs, making renewable energy all the more attractive.
